It is still a challenging reality that thousands of village children in our country lack access even to preliminary education. Acute poverty, backwardness and social discrimination all hamper their progress in life. It is a common sight in these villages little children doing some sort of menial jobs for a living. To help their cause Missions India started a school in Tumgaon, Chhattisgarh in 1996. Today the school has grown into a high school with more than 300 children studying in classes up to grade 10.
