Church Planting

Over the years Missions India ministries have reached many unreached parts of India and Nepal with the love of Christ. The seeds that have been sown with tears have borne much fruit and the ministry is growing on various fronts. The hard labour and committed efforts of our missionaries have never been in vain and the ever-growing fellowship groups established in the mission fields bear witness to this fact.

Remarkably, Missions India has so far dedicated 73 prayer halls in different states of India where there are no churches, to the glory of God. Thousands of believers are nurtured to Christian maturity in these fellowship centres.

Revival Ministry

Every child of God desires to see a revival and be a part of it. However, persistent praying and concerted efforts over the years is the key to revival. With this conviction Missions India conducts revival meetings, Bible study programs, and conventions. We need to persevere because the best is yet to come. The spiritual reawakening of the church will have a far reaching impact on the process of evangelization. Missions India has always held this view and has been ministering to the mainline churches far and wide across Kerala to kindle the fire of revival. The Missions India Revival Team visits churches and fellowship groups to conduct revival meetings, fasting prayers, and Bible classes to lead the believers to have a deeper and meaningful commitment to God and His kingdom.

Keswick Convention: The spiritual revival meetings held at a place called Keswick in England have inspired Christians worldwide for a renewed and deep Christian life. With the same burden and objectives of the Keswick Convention, South India Keswick Convention was started at Navajeevodayam Centre in 1964. For the last 45 years this blessed gathering has been attracting Christians from most denominations creating in them a desire for unity, holy life, and a spiritual renewal.

All Kerala Christian Fellowship: Half a century ago Christian fellowship meetings were very rare. This Fellowship was started in Navajeevodayam Centre to celebrate the unity of all Christians in Jesus Christ. People from different denominations from all over Kerala attend this meeting that is held on the first Tuesday of every month. That apart, more than 380 fellowship groups are gathering in different parts of Kerala to pray and to work together for unity and spiritual revival.

Gethsemane Prayer: On the third Tuesday of every third month a day of fasting and intercession is held in the Missions India prayer hall. Aptly called "Gethsemane Prayer," this is indeed a solemn event to seek the face of the Lord for the 'healing of the land' and for all those who send their prayer requests to us. From 9:30 am to 4:00 pm an intensive time of prayer is held which includes a small message. The participants experience a great blessing from the Lord.

Upper Room Prayer: This is an intensive round-the-clock prayer meeting held every month. Already this meeting, which is held every month, has been conducted in many places within Kerala.

Youth Ministry

The young people should be led to the Lord with love and care. We have joined hands with the Church and Christian bodies to disciple youngsters for Christ. Bible studies, retreats, seminars, etc. are conducted on a regular basis, in different places in Kerala. Well planned programs are conducted in the Navajeevodayam Centre and also in different places in Kerala and also outside Kerala. Many people are being reached with the love of God.

A special ministry is done in Manipal, an educational centre. Most of the students are away from home. They are in need of support and care. Our missionaries are available to cater to the needs of anyone studying there.

In the Youth For Mission conferences held in the years 1992, 1994, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2005, and 2007 thousands of lives were touched as each conference involved the full time participation of more than 1000 young people. Many young people dedicated themselves for the Lord's work and are serving Him in various capacities around the world. The next major event is scheduled in the month of October, 2011 from the 5th till the 8th in the Navajeevodayam Center, Tiruvalla.

Training Centres

Our commitment to the principle of indigenous mission requires us to make progress in the mission fields with the service of dedicated native missionaries. Cross cultural missionary work is only a stepping stone in this direction. However, proper basic training is essential for realizing this. The Missionary Training Centre in Tiruvalla has been hailed by many as the best project in Missions India. Two batches have completed the training. Ample evidences have been seen from the fields testifying that the effort is not in vain. The six month course is an intensive training program to infuse Christian character, basic Bible knowledge, and practical know-how to do the ministry.

Missionary Training Centre in Raxaul, Bihar is in the border of India and Nepal. One year program in Nepali medium has given an added thrust to missionary work in both Nepal and Bihar.
